Subaru of America has partnered with many different businesses, organizations, and agencies that share similar values such as a passion for preserving the outdoor experience. One of Subaru's partners is the organization "Leave No Trace." The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is a non-profit organization based in Boulder, Colorado that teaches people how to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. The organization teaches responsible outdoor recreation through education, research, and partnerships. Along with the main mission of ensuring the long-term health of the natural world, Leave No Trace is also currently focusing on local community participation, youth education, and Frontcountry outreach. Since Subaru of America shares these similar passions and values, it is a great partnership opportunity.
Not only is this partnership valuable for the two companies, but Subaru customers that are members of the Leave No Trace program can also receive benefits from this affiliation. For example, if you become a member of Leave No Trace for a minimum of six months prior to purchasing a new Subaru, you become eligible for Subaru's VIP Partners Program. Once you qualify for this program you can save between $1,300-$3,300 off the manufacturer's suggested retail price (depending on the model and accessories). In order to receive these benefits, you must contact the office of Leave No Trace. The staff at Leave No Trace will send a letter confirming your membership to you and your pre-selected local dealer. This must be done before you purchase your new Subaru, since these benefits cannot be redeemed once your Subaru has already been delivered.
