It's breast cancer awareness month and Five Star Subaru is going Pink! Now through October 31st every customer that comes in for service will be given a pink ribbon sticker to display on his or her vehicle. For every sticker $5 will be donated to Relay for Life of Otsego County. All donations will be dedicated to breast cancer prevention.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual international health campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease, and raise funds for research. Most people are aware of breast cancer and are eager to participate in our to plan to take the steps to detect the disease in its early stages. According to the American Cancer society breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the United States, other than skin cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death in woman, after lung cancer. About 232,570 new cases of invasive breast cancer have occurred in the U.S during the year 2014, and about 40,000 deaths.

It is important to participate. Help the Otsego County Rely For Life, American Cancer Society, and us. Donate your time and money for breast cancer awareness!
