Once you've finally decided to replace your current car, the next question to ask yourself is: Should I buy new or used? Unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits all answer because the reasons for buying a new or used car are not the same for everyone. The Infographic below can help you sort out some of the advantages of each option and better guide you to what is better considering your situation.
If you decide on a used car it is important to buy from a manufacturer's certified pre-owned program to ensure you purchase a quality used vehicle and reap benefits similar to new car owners. Certified pre-owned programs put vehicles through testing more rigorous than dealerships without these programs and often include warranties similar to new cars.
As part of Subaru's pre-owned program the 152 point safety inspection is done on all pre-owned vehicles. Pre-owned vehicles must pass a safety inspection on 152 points, where anything that doesn't meet our high standards is repaired or replaced. This report is made available to you when deciding on a used vehicle along with a CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
Our certified pre-owned inventory are no more than 5 years old with under 80,000 miles. All certified vehicles are eligible for a 7 year, 100,000 mile warranty which includes benefits such as roadside assistance, emergency towing services, and car rental coverage when the vehicle will be in the shop overnight.
