2016 Subaru WRX Awarded IIHS’ Highest Standard of Safety “2015 TOP SAFETY PICK (TSP) +”

There’s exciting news for the new 2016 Subaru WRX. It has been awarded “2015 Top Safety Pick (TSP)+” by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS; a nonprofit organization supported by auto insurers in the US).  This award is the highest standard of safety. This was a press release statement made on September 14, 2015 by Subaru.

The 2016 Subaru WRX received the highest possible rating of Good in five of the IIHS safety test evaluations for occupant protection and Superior in ratings for front. It also received an Advanced level in front crash prevention.

One feature that put the 2016 Subaru WRX above the rest is the new Eyesight feature. This is new technology that detect the objects such as vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. It is the first of its kind and makes for a more improved vehicle.
