MMXV Crosstrek

Ask the Romans, 2015 (MMXV) is truly the year of the Crosstrek.

With 34 mpg highway, 8.7 inches of ground clearance and standard integrated roof rails, you really can go anywhere with the 2015 XV Crosstrek. Here are some of the features for the new model, planned to release in January:

Gasoline models use Subaru's 148-horsepower 2.0-liter BOXER engine while the hybrid model uses a slightly different system. The hybrid model is powered by a similar BOXER engine, with a few different components, in addition to an additional electric motor that produces 13.4 hp for a hybrid system output of 160 hp. Both models are combined with Subaru's award-winning Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system that sends power to each wheel as needed for optimal traction.

The XV Crosstrek comes with a standard five-speed manual transmission and the option to upgrade to a CVT. Both of these options come with a standard ECO gauge to help you get the best possible fuel efficiency out of your Subaru.

Subaru's EyeSight driver assist technology is now available with the XV Crosstrek. This technology combines a number of features, including pre-collision throttle management, warning and braking, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control, to improve driver safety and help avoid collisions.

Also standard on the Crosstrek is a 6.2-inch infotainment system that combines iPod and Bluetooth connectivity with a rear vision camera. This system is also available with a 7-inch tablet-like touch screen upgrade.

The XV Crosstrek is fun, safe, high tech, and along with all Subaru's, it is built to last.
